The built-in editor of the Windows Clients supports most of the standard editing functions used under Microsoft Windows.
The mechanisms and key combinations used for the clipboard functions (Select, Copy, Cut, Paste, and Delete) are the ones common under Windows.
Additionally, there is a number of special editor commands that can be entered in the command line.
If you prefer to carry out extensive editing work with the Windows editor you are familiar with, Section Using an External Editor will inform you how to transport the entire editor contents to another editor and vice versa.
