The first prerequisite is that the corresponding TCP/IP software is either installed on each client, or is available within the network. The network software must have been configured for parallel operation of the protocols TCP/IP and SPX/IPX (for more information, see the documentation for the network product being used). Secondly, the necessary changes must be made in the TCP/IP files SERVICES and HOSTS (see Section Installation on a Client).
