

A DEVSPACE is either a "raw" device or a "character" device or a UNIX file which contains the whole data or at least part of the data of a SERVERDB.
DEVSPACEs of a SERVERDB must not be created on the same physical disk.
It is recommended to use "raw" or "character" devices as DEVSPACEs.
