The Action Bar of the Workbench

The action bar of the workbench appears in the program list as well as in the module list. First the cursor is positioned in the list. The action bar can be activated in various ways:

- Each menu item can be selected directly by simultaneously pressing the highlighted letter and the key ( or or

- Pressing the key activates the first menu item. Here the desired menu item can be selected either by means of the cursor keys or by pressing the highlighted letter. Pressing displays the pertinent pulldown menu. If the action bar is activated, the key returns to the program list or module list.

The cursor key pressed in a pulldown menu displays the pulldown menu of the next level, and if this is not available, the adjacent pulldown menu of the first level. The key pressed in a further level also displays the adjacent pulldown menu of the first level. The cursor key returns from the second level to the first level and from there to the left adjacent first-level pulldown menu.

Control is circular, this means, the key pressed in the right-hand pulldown menu returns to the first pulldown menu at the left.

A function of a pulldown menu is activated either by positioning the cursor and pressing or by selecting the highlighted letter.
