What is AccessPlus and what is it used for?
Microsoft has not a consistent database strategy. Access is only available on Windows 95, the SQL Server is only available on Windows NT. Many software companies and users build Access applications for a few users and small data sets. If these applications exceed the capacity of Access or Windows 95, they must be upsized to an SQL system better to scale. With AccessPlus, ADABAS provides all Access users with a migration tool that allows a scaling beyond Windows NT up to high-end Unix platforms.
