To formulate selection criteria, queries can be parameterized. To do so, insert brackets wherever the selection criterion of a query needs to be variable. Between the brackets, you may formulate a prompt which appears in the dialog box where the text for the variable part of the query is to be entered. A single query can have multiple parameters which are kept when saving the query.
